Role Description The Concrete Foreman role is a full-time, on-site position located in St Paul, MN. The Concrete Foreman oversees daily concrete operations, including planning and organizing crews, coordinating materials, and ensuring work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Typical tasks include reading and interpreting plans, layout and forming, supervising concrete pours, finishing, and site cleanup. The role involves training and guiding crew members, inspecting work for accuracy, communicating with project managers and clients as needed, and maintaining equipment and tools.

The Concrete Foreman also helps with job documentation, basic reporting, and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading concrete crews and overseeing residential or light commercial concrete projects, including forming, pouring, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, site layouts, grades, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, mix designs, curing methods, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Demonstrated skills in crew supervision, task delegation, and on-site problem-solving.
• Commitment to jobsite safety, including familiarity with OSHA guidelines and safe equipment operation.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and project managers.
• Reliable transportation to St Paul, MN jobsites and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Previous experience operating skid steers or similar equipment is beneficial.
• Experience with residential and light commercial concrete work, excavation, or related trades is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional trade training or certifications in concrete or construction supervision are a plus.
