Software Engineer, Senior Developer

We are seeking a Senior-level Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in high-performance, real-time computer graphics for medical device systems. This role focuses on developing advanced 3D visualization software used in cardiac mapping systems within electrophysiology (EP) labs.

The ideal candidate is a strong C++ engineer with extensive OpenGL experience, capable of building low-latency, real-time systems in a regulated, process-driven environment.

• Develop and enhance real-time 3D visualization software
• Design, code, test, and document software for regulated medical device systems
• Work on cardiac mapping systems used in EP labs
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and low-latency rendering
• Collaborate closely with Principal and Senior Principal Engineers
• Participate in detailed software design discussions and complex problem-solving
• Adhere to quality, compliance, and documentation standards required for regulated environments

• Minimum:
  Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant industry experience
• Typical for role: 8–10+ years (Staff Engineer level)
• Candidates with significantly less experience are unlikely to be considered
• Strong C++ skills with solid object‑oriented design experience
• Deep expertise in OpenGL for high‑performance, real‑time rendering
• Hands‑on experience with Qt / QML frameworks
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated, process‑driven environment
