• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Go and/or Python development
• Advanced React and Type Script development experience
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
• AWS cloud experience including core infrastructure services
• Docker containerization experience
• Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization
• Strong testing and software quality practices
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities

• Kubernetes experience
• CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
• Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tooling
• Event-driven architecture experience
• Message queue technologies
• Infrastructure as Code experience such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
• AI or Large Language Model application experience
• Startup or high-growth environment experience

• Design scalable application architectures across frontend and backend systems
• Build and maintain secure APIs and services
• Develop modern web applications utilizing React and Type Script
• Lead technical design discussions and architectural decisions
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Improve software quality, testing practices, and system reliability
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
