An Augeo Software Engineer II designs, implements, tests, and maintains software using modern programming languages, methodologies, platforms, and architectures. In this role you will create application code, review work, write and review technical proposals, coach and mentor, and lead self-directed projects through to completion. You will have an opportunity to make strategic contributions through your decisions and ideas as you help form the backbone of our product engineering team.

You will be bridging the gap between junior-level contributors and senior-level strategic thinkers. • Modern JavaScript/Type Script development, especially in the React and Node.js ecosystem
• Database design and optimization (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Cloud platforms (AWS as a priority)

• Observability and monitoring
• API design and microservices
• Good understanding of agile methodologies
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Ability to document requirements and specifications

• Four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred
• Four or more years of related experience required
