St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational, non‑sectarian, college‑preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. We have two campuses located approximately a mile apart in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving grades K‑5 on the Goodrich Campus and grades 6‑12 on the Randolph Campus.

Position Begins: March 30, 2026
Status: Part‑Time, Seasonal
Department: Athletics
Salary Range: $3,400 – $3,600

This coach will work closely with the head of SPA's Varsity Girls Lacrosse program. The season begins on March 30 2026 and continues through June 13 2026, or until the team's season concludes. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication with students, coaches, and parents, and the ability to teach and develop essential lacrosse skills. They should display positive game conduct, develop individual players’ abilities, and encourage teamwork while supporting SPA’s mission and contributing to school life outside the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Creating a positive environment that promotes good sportsmanship toward players, officials, spectators, and teammates
  • Assisting with instruction of players in rules, regulations, and techniques of lacrosse
  • Organizing and directing individual and small‑group practice activities
  • Assessing players’ skills and monitoring players during competition and practice
  • Assisting with determining game strategy
  • Providing individual player development coaching
  • Assisting with supervising transportation
  • Tracking statistics
  • Creating scouting reports
  • Following established protocol in the event of an injury
  • Participating in special activities such as parent’s nights, banquets, and award ceremonies
