Dishwasher - The Hotel Zamora
The Hotel Zamora is a luxury boutique hotel that boasts Mediterranean-inspired architecture, stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway, and top‑notch amenities. The Hotel Zamora is also home to Castile Restaurant, which serves dishes inspired by the flavors of the world's most exciting coastal seaports, highlighting products from surrounding farms and fishing areas.
The dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the kitchen is maintained and is a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
Schedule: We are currently seeking full‑time availability to include both evenings and weekends.
Pay: $15.00/hour
Essential Functions- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dishwasher
- Sort and stack clean dishes
- Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
- Test dishwasher sanitizing levels and adjust standards based on testing results
- Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
- Remove trash and garbage and transport to the dumpster
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Clean and roll/unroll mats
- Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
- Sweep and mop floors
- Assemble and disassemble dish machine
- Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
- Do not touch dirty dishes before washing hands and before touching clean dishes
- Complete other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs
- Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi‑lingual environment

- Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
- Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
