Overview

The Hotel Zamora, a beautiful boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking a Server. The Hotel Zamora is under new ownership and management with Sherman Associates, an accomplished real estate development and management company. The hotel offers stunning views overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico, with guests experiencing intuitive service in our Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Restaurant, Private Dining, and Meeting/Banquet space.

• Serve multiple tables, as determined by management
• Understand Room Service, Club Lounge, Banquet, and Restaurant food and beverage menus
• Take and fill customer orders
• Upsell alcohol and food items
• Use the computer to ring orders and guest checks
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Accept various payment methods and make accurate change
• Maintain side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Quickly clear and reset tables
• Check identification to ensure legal age for alcohol service; refuse service politely when required
• Observe guest behavior when alcohol is involved and assist when the server determines a guest should not drive
• Know when to escalate situations for management intervention
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs

We are currently seeking part-time and/or full-time availability to include:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Previous hotel/hospitality or related service industry experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
• Must be able to pass required Alcohol service training
