• Work at dental offices, orthodontic practices, and dental surgery centers to assist during cleanings and oral surgery
• Educate patients about procedures and dental maintenance; provide oral care instructions; order X-rays and other scans; reach out to patients about scheduling
• Set up exam tables, assist during procedures, and handle instruments under the dentist’s direction
• Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, stocking supplies, and billing
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding of treatment and dental wellness
• Operate and troubleshoot dental, medical, scheduling, and other office software

• Must possess at least one of the following: an active dental assistant certificate, a radiology certificate, or an active MO-licensed number
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
