OverviewRemote opportunity for an experienced claims adjuster with a passion for Workers' Compensation Subrogation. Leverage your expertise to make a meaningful impact.
How You'll Make An Impact- Investigate, evaluate, dispose, and settle less complex claims with moderate supervision, including coverage, liability, damages, and proper reserves.
- Hold claims reserve and settlement authority up to $5,000 liability and/or $10,000 workers compensation or greater.
- Exercise proper judgment to analyze claims exposure and appropriately settle the claim.
- Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process.
- Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and "best practices," as well as statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
- Document and communicate all claim activity timely and effectively in a manner that supports the outcome of the claim file.
- Work at full case load capacity.
Required: High school diploma and 3 years related WC subro claims experience. Appropriate licensing/certification in all states where claims are handled or ability to obtain licenses/certification per local requirements. Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices. Computer experience with related claims and business software.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
