Founded in 1957, Seyer Industries is a small business located in St. Peters, Missouri, specializing in high-complexity machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and maritime industries. Our capabilities include CNC machining, design engineering, mechanical and electrical assembly, painting, kitting, welding, and NADCAP-certified penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. JOB DUTIES:

• Interface with machining supervisors and leads to maintain the schedule of upcoming jobs.
• Build job kits with fixtures, tooling, and materials for quick changeovers.
• Properly store fixtures and tooling after use.
• Maintain inventory of fixtures and cutting tools.
• Coordinate with Programmers regarding tool requirements for upcoming jobs.
• Work with the Operations Manager to maximize machine operator potential through feedback and improvement opportunities.
• Identify equipment and tooling needs to improve processes and productivity.
• Support Machining Supervisors as needed.
• Order cutting tools.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to Seyer Industries Quality System and customer quality requirements (e.g., AS-9100).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace following 6S standards.
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve company goals.
