DescriptionWe are growing and are looking for an Entry-Level Compo under Mixing Technician
. Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to learn how products are made? At Cosmos Corporation, we’ll teach you how to become a Compo under Mixing Technician
; a critical role in turning raw ingredients into our natural health and pet care products. You’ll train alongside experienced technicians to gain technical skills that open doors for long-term career growth in manufacturing.
- How to read batch sheets and weigh ingredients accurately.
- How to mix and compound formulas used in health and wellness products.
- How to operate production equipment such as mixers, tanks, pumps, and transfer systems.
- How to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures.
- How to complete batch documentation and work cross-functionally with Quality and Production teams.
- How to perform cleaning and sanitization procedures between runs.
- Training period:
First shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) for approximately 4 months. - After training, you’ll transition to 2nd shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.).
- You’ll work with senior Compounders and the Mixing Supervisor to build confidence and technical mastery.
Starting pay: $17.50 per hour, with room to grow to $19.50 once you complete training!

- High school diploma or equivalent.
Once trained, you’ll be qualified to mix complex batches and operate advanced systems!

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for 100% of the shift, walk upstairs and climb ladders, and walk throughout the facility. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee frequently reaches with hands and arms, including overhead; stoops, bends, kneels, and crouches; and must be able to communicate clearly. The employee must regularly push, pull, lift, and carry materials and products weighing up to 50 to 60 pounds throughout the day, including lifting items overhead. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying and sometimes uncontrolled temperature conditions that are hot, humid, and cold, as well as moderate noise levels and moving mechanical parts.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
