• Supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency to meet company goals.
• Run the production area and ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities according to specifications.
• Accurately record produced goods and problems encountered during the shift to ensure smooth shift changeovers.
• Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator.
• Maintain product quality and ensure all employees understand and follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Lead and develop the team, assess training needs, and execute training.
• Ensure adequate staffing to cover absenteeism, holidays, and normal operations.
• Record time and attendance and perform performance evaluations.
• Attend meetings with the Production Manager and review employee concerns.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the department.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical engineering background
• Supervisory experience in the plastics industry preferred
• Good process knowledge

• Ability to train personnel

• Regularly stand, walk, reach, and occasionally climb or balance.
• Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally sit.
• Lift up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 30 lbs frequently, and more than 50 lbs occasionally.
• Close vision required.
