Clinical Nurse – Cardiac Rehab​/Coumadin Clinic

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Maintains safety-sensitive practices, working in a vigilant and safe manner at all times.

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure as an RN is required; experience in Stepdown, Telemetry, or Cardiac ICU (1-2 years) is preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills; ACLS/BLS certifications available if needed.

• Cross-training in Cardiac Rehab and Coumadin Clinic with rotating schedules.
• Focus on professional development, collaboration, and service excellence in a supportive environment.
