About the role

We are looking for someone (like you) to keep the front of house front of mind, be a great host, prep meals, keep the dining area tidy, and serve as an appetite anthropologist, communicating with supervisors about residents’ dietary habits.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a pristine dining environment and impeccable service for residents.
  • Greet residents and create a welcoming atmosphere, mingle, entertain, and foster connection.
  • Prepare tables, salads, and silverware to ensure a smooth meal service.
  • Buss tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean and proud.
  • Communicate dietary concerns or changes in appetite to supervisors, and note when residents miss meals.
Qualifications
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing appropriate care and supervision to residents.
  • Must possess and maintain a food server permit required by the county.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at minimum 8th‑grade proficiency with residents.
  • Positive, energetic attitude who loves residents.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
  • Able to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post‑fall assistance.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • In good physical and mental health; health screening within 6 months before or 7 days after hiring; TB test at time of screening.
