Streets Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Streets Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks related to the construction and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, signage, and pavement marking. The position requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle both physical and mental demands effectively.

• Street and Sidewalk Maintenance:
  Engage in general labor tasks including asphalt paving, concrete repair, joint and crack sealing, street sign fabrication and installation, and pavement marking.
• Traffic Control:
  Set up and manage work zones and roadway traffic control to ensure safety and compliance.
• Equipment Operation:
  Operate and perform minor maintenance on light and heavy equipment, power tools, and motorized equipment. Operate vehicles up to and including Class "B" CDL size with air brakes.
• Snow Removal:
  Participate in snow removal activities to keep streets and public areas accessible and safe.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
• High School graduate or GED certificate.
• One (1) year of applicable experience.
• Must have a Class "B" CDL valid in the state of Missouri, or obtain within 120 days of employment. Commercial drivers instruction permit (CDIP) must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 90 lbs.
