Tax Preparer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer with expertise in to join our team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. Your duties will include gathering and analyzing financial information, completing tax forms accurately, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial information to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Use CCH Access software to input and manage data for tax returns.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and adjust tax preparation methods accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all tax preparation tasks are completed on time and accurately.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a tax preparer, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Experience using CCH Access software is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other tax software programs.
