Payroll Lead & HRIS Operations
Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Salary
: $850,000 – $95,000 annually

- Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing across multiple business units and legal entities
- Perform payroll accounting activities, including payroll-to-GL reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end support
- Maintain HRIS data integrity through audits, data transactions, reporting, testing, and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, filings, year-end processing, and audit requirements
- Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and business leaders to resolve issues and improve payroll and HRIS processes
- CPP (Certified Payroll Processor) is a PLUS +
- 10+ years of hands-on payroll experience managing complex, multi-state payroll environments
- Strong General Ledger (GL) experience, including payroll accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls
- Advanced HRIS and payroll systems expertise, including reporting, audits, testing, and data management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
