Service Contract Act (SCA) Position
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Duties and Responsibilities- The Property Clerk reports to the Property Supervisor and is an hourly, non-exempt position.
- The Property Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the property/inventory control functions.
- Ensures that center equipment and supplies are ordered, received, and distributed.
- The Property Clerk posts and maintains shipping, receiving, inventory records and documents in accordance with center and DOL regulations.
- Arranges for disposition of excess materials in accordance with procedures as stated in the Property Handbook.
- Monitors the procurement of supplies, materials and equipment for General Services Administration, self-service store, and other vendors.
- Monitors maintenance of accurate records on the physical location of all center property.
- Attends required staff training sessions.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in property/inventory control preferred.
- Valid State driver’s license in the state of employment with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
- Sound working knowledge of property/inventory control procedures. Knowledge of Government property management requirements and procedures desired.
