Scherer Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial projects from concept through closeout. You'll own project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and field coordination while upholding top-tier safety and quality standards. This hire will backfill a long-tenured leader who has served the company as Senior Project Manager—and ultimately President. We're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven builder who can deliver results and represent Scherer with excellence.

• Lead full project lifecycle: precon, buyout, scheduling, execution, and closeout
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change orders
• Build and manage schedules; drive look-ahead planning with superintendents
• Select, contract, and manage subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
• Maintain strong client communication and steward long-term relationships
• Produce clear documentation: RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, project reports

• 7-10+ years of commercial construction PM experience (ground-up and/or TI)
• Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
• Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Excel, Procore, and MS Project
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Established network of subcontractors and customer relationships preferred
• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Professional certifications such as Associate Constructor (AC), Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are a plus.
