Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Pulmonology Program has an excellent opportunity for a Division Chief. The Chief will lead the division's clinical and educational services to our growing Pediatric Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis programs.
1. Clinical and Leadership Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership
:
Lead a team of 5 Pediatric Pulmonologists and 2 APRNs, providing strategic direction, ensuring high‑quality patient care, and setting a clinical vision. - Program Growth
:
Expand and develop the pediatric pulmonary and cystic fibrosis programs, build community relationships, allocate resources, and ensure staff and patients have the tools needed for success.
- Teaching and Mentorship
:
Teach residents, fellows, and other medical professionals; shape the next generation of pediatric pulmonologists and provide guidance to trainees. - Academic Collaboration
:
Engage in academic publishing, collaborate with experts, and contribute to advancements in pediatric pulmonology research.
- Cystic Fibrosis Care Center
:
Oversee clinical protocols, patient support, and latest treatments to maintain high standards of care at the CF Foundation‑accredited center. - Multidisciplinary Collaboration
:
Collaborate with nutrition, social work, physical therapy, and other specialists for holistic care. - Research and Clinical Trials
:
Lead clinical research or trials in Cystic Fibrosis in an academic environment.
