FT High School Geometry Teacher – Diocese of Saint Petersburg

St. Petersburg Catholic High School is seeking a full‑time Mathematics (Geometry) Teacher for the second semester of the 2025‑2026 school year. This position may become available immediately. St. Petersburg Catholic is an AP Honor Roll School with one of the highest AP pass rates in Pinellas County and has been named the Top Private High School in the Tampa Bay Region for the third consecutive year.

• Teach Geometry to high‑school students, integrating the Understanding by Design framework, project‑based learning, and classroom technology, including the use of student iPads.
• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction that meets the needs of students at varying proficiency levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a classroom environment that reflects the school’s Catholic values and academic standards.

• A four‑year degree in mathematics from an accredited institution; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Florida Department of Education certification in the applicable subject area or a statement of eligibility.
• Preferred previous high‑school teaching experience, including AP coursework.
• Successful completion of Level II background screening and Safe Environment training.
