Electrical Engineer – Qualifications and Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer, State of Florida – Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years experience in an AE environment, Electrical Design
- Experience in power systems design, low‑voltage design, and lighting design (load calculations, system sizing, code compliance)
- Proven record of designing appropriate electrical systems within client budget and time constraints, working successfully in multidisciplinary teams on multiple projects
- Experience in outlet, data, and telephone layout design
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels to provide high‑quality, well‑coordinated, technically proficient electrical engineering design solutions for varied project assignments
- Active participation in project meetings during design and construction; preparation of graphic and written construction documents
- Lead or self‑direct site visits to evaluate facility infrastructure; identify and solve design/field issues during construction
- Commitment to quality service and engineering
- Experience in Commercial, Senior Living/ILF/ALF, High‑rise projects;
New Construction and Renovation - Able to work on large Senior Living/ILF/ALF, Healthcare & Multifamily High‑rise projects, both new construction and renovation (masonry / hollow core / precast / PT concrete systems)
- Autodesk AutoCAD 2020
- Autodesk Revit 2020
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
