From Digital marketing services and tools to technical innovation and new upcoming marketing trends and back to traditional marketing.

Aqua Marketing & Communication (Aqua) is a destination, tourism, and hospitality marketing agency.

Together with Aqua Talks we provide 3 brands as a full-service marketing and communications agency providing full suite of marketing services.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets and forecasting future financial performance.
  • Accounting Processes: Performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring multiple bank accounts and balancing cash flow, invoicing A/R and collections & A/P disbursements.
  • Internal Controls: Full-cycle accounting processing while developing and maintaining internal control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying trends and variances, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Audit Coordination: Working with external auditors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
  • Collaboration: Working with other departments and stakeholders to support business initiatives.
  • Time Management: Essential to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in accounting, financial management, and/or controller roles.
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, WMJ, GUSTO, ADP, Excel).
  • Other: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Additionally, experience with federal and state contract experience is a plus. Strong communication and time‑management skills are also desirable.
