Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and experienced Salon/Barbershop Manager to lead and support our talented team of stylists, barbers, and front-desk staff at our St. Petersburg, FL location. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a background in the beauty or grooming industry, passionate about customer service, team development, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the barbershop, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Manage and lead team, including scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
• Handle client concerns and feedback professionally
• Track sales, manage budgets, and implement strategies to increase revenue
• Plan and promote marketing campaigns, special offers, and events
• Maintain a positive and motivating work environment
• Work closely with the owner & operations manager on business goals and improvements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of salon/barbershop management or leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients and team members
• Strong strategic thinking, organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of salon/barbershop software systems is a plus (e.g., Vagaro , Booker, Square)
• Licensed cosmetologist or barber (preferred but not required depending on duties)
• Sales and marketing experience is a bonus
