To provide physical therapy services in accordance with policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Direction and supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants as indicated.

• Perform evaluation and treatment of movement disorders in accordance with physician orders.
• Compliance with federal and state regulations, professional guidelines and code of ethics for the professional of physical therapy and provision of physical therapy services.
• Compliance with EHSI and PSRS policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings and in-services as needed as directed by FRC.
• Complies with laws and regulations applicable to position and act in accordance with Corporate Compliance Program.
• Ability to interact and communicate with various levels of staff in the organization.
• Able to communicate, direct, motivate and build team relations.
• Sound clinical judgment relating to the provision of Rehabilitation services.
• Collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team in delivery of patient care to maximize functional outcomes.
• All Team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces (i.e. employee lounge) free from waste or any unkemptness that would detract from the aesthetics of the environment.
• Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, wear gait belt (as duties require) and use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.
• Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a Nursing Unit Manager for proper treatment and recording.
• Follows center no-smoking policy.
• Adhere to infection control standards and policy.
• Adhere to department’s uniform policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• State of Florida credentialing/licensure as required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use the instruments and systems identified as efficient and effective methods to manage day to day operations in their role. We encourage feedback on systems and/or instruments that hinder efficient performance.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other team members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
• Able to perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, moving of equipment, bending, twisting and stooping.
• Able to spend long periods of time on foot.
• Able to react quickly in any situation.
