As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy.
You’re a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work. You’re equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.
You’re adaptable to the patient’s needs and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings. You’re a teammate who collaborates with peers and makes referrals when necessary.
You know that being a Physical Therapist means you’re a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity.
