Laundry Attendant

Laundry attendants play a key role in maintaining the AAA Four-Diamond standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at The Osthoff Resort. This position is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens with care and attention to detail. Laundry attendants will cross train and work with housekeeping to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently to support the guest experience.

This is a full-time, first shift position. Some weekend availability is required.

This position may cross train in other housekeeping jobs, such as deep cleaning and night running, to maintain hours during the off-season.

• Launder linens from the Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Aspira Spa departments
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently
• Sort, inspect, and pre-treat linens and towels
• Load and unload washers and dryers
• Operate industrial iron alongside a coworker
• Hand fold towels
• Daily cleanup and organization of the Laundry Department
• Cross train in deep cleaning of rooms
• All other duties as assigned by Laundry Manager, Housekeeping Management, or Executive Team

• Must be 16 years of age
• Must be comfortable operating and being around industrial-sized laundry machinery
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a warm and sometimes loud environment
• Must have weekend availability
• Must have the willingness to go above and beyond what is expected to create meaningful guest experiences
• Be able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Possess great time management skills, with the ability to think on the spot
