Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager assists in the development, implementation, and administration of policies and programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, and organizational development. The role ensures regulatory compliance and supports the company's business strategies.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, plans and programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, and organizational development.
- Align policies, procedures, plans, programs and budgets with Catalent Pharma Solutions.
- Partner with St. Petersburg leadership in strategic planning, advising on HR concerns.
- Provide counsel to managers and employees on HR issues, organization structure and development.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with management and employees; provide support, planning, and problem‑solving.
- Plan and direct recruitment, selection and placement of talent, ensuring continuity of operations and leadership bench strength.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of broad and progressive HR experience, with 3 years in a management role within progressive HR systems and processes.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll principles.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment (24x7, 3/2/2 scheduling).
- Physical requirements:
sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0‑15 pounds.
