WA State Reporting Compliance Analyst

Focus School Software is looking to expand our team by hiring a WA State Reporting Analyst on a contractor (W9) basis. Our State Reporting Team supports districts across multiple states, with this position focusing on providing CEDARS (Comprehensive Education Data and Research System) support specifically for WA state Focus customers.

• Knowledge of WA state reporting/CEDARS standards and requirements
• Ability to effectively answer questions, run queries, diagnose, and resolve issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Convert requirements from CEDARS documentation into fields setup in Focus
• Communicate requirements for CEDARS extracts to Focus programmers
• Engage with WA state customers about Focus setup for WA compliance
• Translate customer and project team requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams
• Collaborate with the State Reporting team to ensure documentation accuracy and currency
• Evaluate and verify completeness of specifications before release to engineers
