Field Telecommunications Technician

We are looking for a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Tampa, FL area who has a strong desire to resolve technical issues, is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently while providing support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products.

No desk here! Your day will be spent supporting our customers in your region. We provide a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support.

As the face of our organization, you will provide a great customer experience and communicate thoughtfully and professionally with staff at hospitality and healthcare customers, respecting boundaries, protocols, and empathy.

• Technical degree plus one year of related experience in areas such as High-Speed Internet, Satellite TV, Digital TV, Telecom, CATV, MATV, Head-end, RF, Networking, or Computer Troubleshooting.
• Or High School Diploma or GED plus three years of work experience in one of the above areas.

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits to operate a company vehicle.
• Occasional travel outside of assigned region, on-call availability, overtime, and weekend work to accommodate service level agreements.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing customer priorities and requests.

Competitive salary based on location, experience, education, specialty, and training. Generally starting at $25 - $32 per hour. Pay scale is not a promise of a specific wage.
