Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Saint Petersburg, FL. This role is ideal for an experienced network engineering professional who enjoys designing, securing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure across complex on-premises and cloud-connected environments.

The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in maintaining high-availability network operations, voice and data systems, wireless infrastructure, mobile communications, fleet connectivity, and enterprise security practices. This position offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, improve network reliability, and contribute to long-term technology strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on engineering background, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• - Administer, optimize, and maintain enterprise LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments across multiple facilities and networked locations.
• - Design, support, and troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, voice, mobile communications, and edge computing infrastructure.
• - Manage network security controls, access lists, IP addressing, permissions, phone system security, and related policies.
• - Lead advanced troubleshooting, performance analysis, capacity planning, software updates, patching, and hardware lifecycle management.
• - Support deployment of security solutions across hybrid environments, including on-premises, disaster recovery, and cloud-connected systems.
• - Mentor network engineering team members, lead IT projects, develop SOPs, and provide on-call or emergency response support as needed.
