Position Title: Associate Attorney (Civil Trial)

Location: Fort Myers, Florida

The Associate Attorney position is based in our Fort Myers office. This role is responsible for managing litigation matters across the firm’s core practice areas and handling a broad range of responsibilities throughout all phases of litigation. Duties include legal drafting, discovery management (including drafting and responding to discovery), legal research, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration, and trial preparation.

• Law degree from a fully ADA accredited law school
• Civil defense background preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of Litigation Experience in one of the following areas:
  Construction Litigation, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Fraud, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Automobile, and Premises Liability.
• Ability to manage caseload and litigation staff
• Be able to work independently but also collaboratively with Practice Group Leaders
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
