The Technician C assists skilled workers in the performance of skilled and semi-skilled laboratory work. The technician C works under close supervision and performs cleaning and maintenance of laboratory and equipment requiring skilled or semi-skilled knowledge. With adequate training and close supervision, will perform work of an essentially repetitive nature for the production of deliverable hardware. The work involves manual skills and the operation of simple automated or semi-automated equipment.

The technician C will carefully document their own work consistent with work unit policy in hand written form or using common computer-based software, under close supervision.

• Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment with close supervision.
• Operates simple equipment in the production of hardware using manual skills under close supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with close supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Possess attention to detail skills.
• General understanding of engineering practices.
• Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Requires at least six months of applicable experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $26.73 - $26.73. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and does not include bonuses or benefits.
