Advancement Coordinator
St. Petersburg Catholic High School – St. Petersburg, FL 33710 (Full-time)
St. Petersburg Catholic High School seeks an individual to support the school’s growing fundraising enterprise. The Advancement Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director of Enrollment and Advancement to implement a comprehensive and integrated advancement plan in order to achieve ambitious goals on behalf of St. Petersburg Catholic High School. The Advancement Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director of Enrollment and Advancement.
Responsibilities- Support the execution of a strategic advancement plan to advance annual and capital fundraising initiatives.
- Implement best-in-class practices for communications, stewardship, special events, annual Gala, and annual giving.
- Oversee mailing of all promotional and informational materials (newsletters, brochures) and Annual Fund letters through volunteers or outside mail house; assist Executive Director of Enrollment and Advancement in thanking strategies.
- Process, record, and deposit all income generated through annual giving programs, special events, memorial and scholarship gifts, matching gifts, and other activities managed by the office.
- Generate all acknowledgments and receipts for all gifts (annual fund, endowment, scholarship, corporate matching gifts, etc.) and maintain appropriate gift records and forms.
- Proven professional success with event management, marketing, communications, and database management, with a preference for experience in the areas of fundraising and stewardship.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment where leadership is shared and opinions are valued and respected.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills for multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities as situations arise in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual.
- Must have some experience with content creation and social media.
- Creative and/or multimedia design (graphic design, video, web) experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- All applicants must pass a Level II Background check and FLDOE Clearinghouse, as well as complete Safe Environment training prior to beginning employment.
