Preoperative/Postoperative PACU RN

Skyway Surgery Center, Petersburg, FL

• Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, implement all physician orders and provide continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients.
• Continuously evaluate patients’ condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

• No calls, no weekends, and no holidays;
  Monday–Friday schedule.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Florida Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or ICU
