Overview
ARNP - Advanced Mobile Wound Care - Florida. Hiring for mobile wound care practitioners (Nurse Practitioners and Autonomous Nurse Practitioners) to work in and around Pensacola, Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Tampa, St Petersburg, Sarasota, Ft Myers and West Palm Beach. Heal Precisely is a mobile wound care program dedicated to promoting healing of chronic wounds and reducing surgical amputations. 100% traveling position with self-direction and required driving to sites of service.
Responsibilities- Provide wound care management to patients in homes, community settings, long-term care facilities, and via telehealth as needed.
- Develop individualized plans of care with a focus on wound healing outcomes.
- Collaborate with Medical Director and clinical team; order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies; modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Prescribe medications and durable medical equipment as appropriate; ensure required billing information and documentation for services billed.
- Maintain up-to-date medical records related to wound diagnosis and contributing comorbidities; ensure patient chart encounters are closed per standard of care.
- Instruct patients and families on wound treatments and management plans; provide education on nutrition, living conditions, and best wound care practices.
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and/or American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Licensed by the Florida State Board of Nursing and in good standing with DEA license
- BLS and CPR certified
- Ability to work independently with interdisciplinary collaboration; strong communication with patients, staff, and referral sources
- Ability to drive from home to patient locations
- Maintain positive, motivated attitude
- Full range of motion to provide care in patient environments
- Daily travel; frequent standing and walking
- Visual and hearing acuity; ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
- Develop and manage individualized wound care treatment plans
- Collaborate with facility teams on wound management practices
- Utilize up-to-date wound care products and therapies
- Perform wound care procedures including debridement when appropriate
- Prescribe medications and/or DME as needed
- Handle billing information and maintain documentation
- Review patient records and maintain current medical records for wound diagnosis and comorbidities
- Identify wound care quality measures and provide data for tracking
- Educate patients and families on treatments and plans
- Complete required continuing medical education hours
- Attend required meetings as requested
Job Type: Part-time (potential to move to Full-time). Compensation:
From $60.00 per hour. Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week. Opportunities for bonuses.
