Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager – Night Shift

Join Bayfront Health to lead night shift operations at the Mom Baby unit.

• Lead shift operations to deliver high‑quality care, exceptional customer experience, and optimal patient flow.
• Manage staffing assignments based on patient acuity and team skill sets.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Monitor patient status, including seriously ill patients, and coordinate care delivery per physician orders and policies.
• Serve as a resource for frontline team members and providers.
• Support clinical collaboration to influence expected patient length of stay.
• Perform direct patient care activities as required.
• Conduct Nurse Leader rounds, investigate complaints, and respond to patient/family and physician concerns.
• Participate in safety huddles and promote change and problem solving.
• Assess equipment needs and ensure appropriate allocation and adjustment of staff and resources.
• Maintain compliance with all Bayfront Health policies, ADA, FMLA, and federal, state, and local standards.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in area of expertise – preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – may be required based on patient population.

Minimum one (1) year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
