• Directed by the RN. Assist with patient care without purposefully encountering body fluids (e.g., blood, urine, stool, saliva, dirty linens, emesis, etc.) or any devices that contain body fluids (such as urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, drains, used basins, etc.).
• Perform at least one of the following roles:
  Mobility Assistant, Transport Assistant, or cross‑trained as a Visual Monitor Technician.

• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit
