Quality Assurance Inspector – Life Sciences and Consumer

The Quality Assurance Inspector will ensure quality standards are maintained while meeting deadlines and customer satisfaction. This role requires a general knowledge of plastic injection molding, process and part terminology, and sampling plans. It is a rotating, four‑shift role (10 hours each) from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

• Visual inspection, in‑process inspection, final inspection audits, and performing dimensional analysis.
• Conducting First Article Inspection.
• Using measuring equipment such as calipers, indicators, micrometers, go/no‑go tools, comparators, and microscopes (software aid).
• Maintaining plastic injection molding operation and inspection expertise.
• Passing vision and color tests.
• Using MS Word and Excel for data entry and basic statistical/math analysis.
• Reading blueprints and interpreting specifications.
• Working independently and collaboratively in a team environment, including training others on quality criteria and gauging techniques.
• Complying with ISO 9001 and company ISO policies and procedures.
• Inventory control experience is a plus.

• Ability to work four 10‑hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
• Proficient use of micrometers and inspection equipment.
• Understanding of programming concepts.
• High‑school diploma, trade‑school certificate, or five years of relevant trade experience (or equivalent).
