Job Title: Apartment Leasing Agent

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Apartment Leasing Agent. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective tenants and ensuring a smooth leasing process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

A monthly bonus structure is in addition to the hourly wages.

• Greet prospective tenants and provide them with information about available apartments, amenities, and leasing terms.
• Conduct tours of the property, showcasing apartments and common areas while highlighting the features and benefits of living in our community.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
• Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting background and credit checks, and verifying income and rental history.
• Follow up with prospective tenants to answer questions, address concerns, and facilitate the leasing process.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure apartments are move-in ready and prepared for new tenants.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of market conditions, competitors, and industry trends to effectively position our property in the marketplace.
• Utilize leasing software and databases to maintain accurate records of leasing activity, applicant information, and apartment availability.
• Assist with marketing efforts, including creating advertisements, posting listings online, and organizing promotional events.
• Attend property management meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company policies, procedures, and best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2 years previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospective tenants.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.>
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with leasing software preferred.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
