The Fish and Wildlife Research Institute's Marine Mammal Section in St. Petersburg, Florida, seeks a Biological Scientist I to respond to marine mammal stranding calls, verify mortalities, recover carcasses, and perform necropsies on manatees.
This temporary OPS position involves fieldwork across coastal Florida counties from Escambia to Manatee. It also requires assisting with rescue and transport operations and safe boating by trailer.
