Position SummaryAs a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be the face of Mattress Home, guiding customers through their purchasing journey and ensuring they find the perfect sleep solution. Your role is pivotal in delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs to recommend suitable products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and promotions.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of commission-based mattress, furniture, or high-ticket retail sales
- Proven experience closing $2,000+ average tickets
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Prior responsibility for training, coaching, or leading sales associates
- Ability to lift up to 125 lbs (with assistance)
- Experience working weekends in a retail environment. Weekend and holiday availability required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong advantage
