Position SummaryThe Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and expanding Marinetek’s presence throughout the state of Florida. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with developers, contractors, marinas, and municipalities, and driving sales from concept to contract. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of marine construction or related industries, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven, consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities- Promote Marinetek’s full line of floating concrete docks, wave attenuators, and marina systems.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities within Florida.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with marina owners, contractors, engineers, and developers.
- Conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and provide technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to prepare quotes, proposals, and bid packages.
- Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, profitability targets, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to help shape sales strategy.
- Represent Marinetek professionally in all client and industry interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Marine Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience in marine construction, commercial docks, precast concrete, or similar industry.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings or specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida (up to 75%).
- Valid driver’s license required.
