Security Guard - Unarmed

Excelsior Defense is seeking Professional and Guest-focused Overnight Unarmed Security guards for a Security Guard Front Desk for a few of our prestige High Rise buildings located in downtown St. Petersburg. This position combines traditional security duties with a polished front desk presence. Guards are expected to patrol the property and maintain a welcoming, secure environment for tenants, residents, and retail common areas.

Guards primary post is the interior of the building with a combination of exterior perimeter checks of critical areas.

• Greet tenants and guests with professionalism
• Monitor access points and verify entry credentials
• Patrol interiors, stairwells, and parking areas
• Deter unauthorized activity and respond to incidents
• Document occurrences and maintain safety protocols

• Valid Florida Class D Security License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work assigned shifts reliably
• Ability to operate portable communication devices for reporting/check point scans.
