** The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician position will install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and distributive control equipment throughout the facility in a safe and professional manner.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*** Performs electrical preventive, repair, and calibration maintenance procedures safely and professionally with minimal supervision in accordance with Federal and State Regulations, and Company Work Rules, Policies and Procedures.
* Utilizing training/skillset and electrical tools/metering - Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of low and medium voltage switch gear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
* Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of high voltage switchyard and Motor Control Center (MCC) equipment and steam turbine driven generators and work with/monitor licensed contractor testing and servicing of facility high voltage and generator protection equipment.
* Perform electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste boilers and its associated equipment, including but not limited to, pumps, fans, motors, conveyors & refuse cranes.
* Perform electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste air pollution control systems.
* Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to the Continuous Emissions Motoring System (CEMS) as well as all facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation, which includes but is not limited to, transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement, and flue gas analysis equipment.
* Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, and tune/adjust, and make repairs, as needed to the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices.
* Troubleshoot/adjust/tune/repair a variety of systems and system controls to include electronic, digital, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic.
* Operate various calibration equipment and perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repair work as assigned.
* Work with other departments as needed to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems and complete all maintenance work records.
* Initiates and completes work-orders and requisitions and documents all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.
* Responds and reports to work during off hours when emergency repairs are required and scheduled for the on-call coverage.
* Follows standard safety procedures, correct safety and environmental hazards, and report them to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
Reads, understands, and applies information such as, lockout/tagout procedures, safety rules, job hazard analyses, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Works overtime.
* Works rotating shifts during outages or if requested.
* Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing; as well as communicate clearly whether using in-situ intercom system, two-way radio or face to face.
* Anticipates typical problems, identify potential or recurring problems, and take appropriate action with minimal supervision/additional training. Troubleshoots equipment, diagnose problems and repair with minimal supervision/additional training.
* Operates other equipment including, but not limited to, industrial forklifts, manlifts, skid steer type loaders, and other mobile equipment.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Field, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a 3rd class E&I Technician with minimum…
