Roofing Laborers

Must Have The Following In Order To Apply

• No minimum education required
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial construction required
• Must be able to follow all OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and other Safety and Compliance Standards

Required Screenings

• Drug Testing/Screening (Pre-Employment/Random) and Background Checks (Local/State/Federal)
• Drug Free Workplace

Preferred Education

• Experience on commercial roof systems is preferred

Job Description

Build or repair structures in construction, repair, or manufacturing setting. Construct, erect, or repair wooden frameworks or structures. Cut, shape, fit, or join wood or other construction materials. Erect scaffold. Install prefabricated building components. Install shingles, tile, slate, asphalt, or related roofing materials. Install siding or sheeting. Maintain or repair construction machinery or equipment. Perform safety inspections in construction or resource extraction setting.

Repair cracks, defects, or damage in installed building materials. Use measuring devices in construction or extraction work. Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specifications. Paint walls or other structural surfaces. Use carpentry techniques. Use hand or power woodworking tools. Adhere to safety procedures. Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings. Apply protective coating to products. Assist mechanics, or extractive or construction trades craft worker.

Move materials or goods between work areas. Read tape measure. Use hand or power tools.

Days and Hours

Full Time position;
Day Shift and hours will vary. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.

Pay

$17.00 to $20.00 per hour; depends on experience. Benefits are offered.
