Position Description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics, electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding, brazing, and mechanical layouts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Service HVAC equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Use hand tools, blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and modifications as requested.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, inspecting for wear.
  • Document work through paperwork and file maintenance.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Work overtime/weekends as needed.
  • Job Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior HVAC experience in commercial and industrial settings, including copper and duct work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, diagnose, and maintain HVAC equipment such as split systems, chillers, water source equipment, and electric heaters.
  • Knowledge of AHU, RTU, VAV, CRAC, VRG, OAF, EF, chillers, boilers, duct systems, and line sets.
  • EPA certification (1,2,3, or Universal).
  • Clear communication skills and ability to understand instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand, reach, and work in various environments.
  • Candidate may need to pass drug and background tests.
