As part of the Ace Hardware family, our St. Petersburg location is a State Certified Building Contractor (CBC
1264967) recognized for top-rated repair, maintenance, and remodeling services. We handle the marketing, scheduling, and administrative work. You focus on what you do best: delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent service directly to our local residential and commercial clients.

Review your scheduled jobs for the day, which are organized and dispatched directly to you.

Arrive at mid-to-small-scale project sites prepared to troubleshoot and complete a variety of tasks, from carpentry and drywall repairs to light plumbing and electrical work.

Interact directly with clients to discuss their project goals, explain your process, and ensure they are pleased with the progress and final result.

Manage materials and expenses efficiently using a company-provided credit card and tool/vehicle allowances.

Leave every job site clean, safe, and fully resolved.

Establish yourself as a trusted, go-to craftsman in the St. Petersburg area, resulting in repeat client requests.

Consistently meet quality and efficiency standards to qualify for regular performance bonuses and pay reviews.

Proven track record of success in carpentry and general home repairs.

A well-rounded knowledge of multiple trades, including drywalling, tiling, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical troubleshooting.

Your own standard set of hand and power tools appropriate for daily remodeling and repair tasks.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to figure out the best approach to unexpected repair challenges.

Excellent communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor when working inside clients' homes and businesses.

A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Residence within 15 miles of St. Petersburg, FL.

Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.

Experience performing home inspections.

Strong estimation skills to help clients understand the scope and cost of larger projects.
