We are looking to bring on a part‑time experienced and passionate strength coach / personal trainer with a background in rehabilitation to join our team of fitness professionals. About UsMade Possible Personal Training (MPPT) is a thriving personal training studio in Saint Petersburg, Florida founded in 2017. Our team of four coaches has a combined experience of over 30 years in the industry, including rehabilitation clinics, pro‑sports, college sport, commercial gyms, and clinical settings. We specialize in post‑rehabilitation fitness and quality‑of‑life clients. MPPT’s mission is to empower the people in our community to lead healthier and happier lives through personalized fitness solutions, guidance, education, and encouragement.

You should be a learner, self‑starter, high‑energy motivator, educator, and community builder. This is a small team, so you must embody our core values in daily work. You’ll have a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” mentality and an ownership mindset. Our coaches do not have to sell; programming is handled by the head coach for the first year.
EssentialRoles & Responsibilities
- Personal training (1‑1) in person and virtual
- Semi‑private training 2 (1 coach to 2 clients with 2 different programs)
- Semi‑private training 4 (1 coach to 4 clients with 4 different programs)
- Teach exercises and coach, cue, progress, and regress movements as needed
- Coaching from across the floor; be loud, proud, and motivating
- Manage member interaction/relations and answer membership questions
- Communicate updates internally among the team
- Help maintain a clean and inviting environment for members
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Maintain a professional and empathetic disposition with clients
- Uphold the values and mission of MPPT
- Participate in community events
- Up‑to‑date CPT, CSCS, or CFSC certification
- Minimum of 2 years of personal training experience
- Minimum of 4 years of consistent strength training experience
- Experience as a Physical Therapy Technician or internship in a physical therapy clinic is a plus but not required
- Professionalism: punctual, independent, detail‑oriented, team player, prioritizes accuracy
- Accountability: reliable, personal responsibility, honors commitments, corrects mistakes promptly, meets deadlines, communicates continuously
- Confidentiality: shares information appropriately while adhering to privacy rules
- Interpersonal relationships: constructive communication, positive workplace culture, customer‑service oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and think on your feet
- Outgoing and personable with a passion for fitness and helping others
- Open to learning and accepting constructive criticism
- Results‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Technologically proficient (tablets, computers, phones)
- Flexible work schedule, including every other Saturday morning
- Comfortable working independently once trained
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a “start‑up” mindset
- Onboarding internship/assistant coach period (start at $14‑20/hr)
- Starting wages as a trained coach: $25‑34 per coaching hour + monthly stipend, with raises based on expectations
