Housekeeping

The housekeeper will maintain the occupied and unoccupied rooms and bathrooms as well as the common areas of the residence.

• Weekly room cleaning
  • Ensures their trolley contains the necessary products and materials
  • Wash sink, toilet, mirror and bath
  • Change towels and bedding once a week
  • Vacuum cleaner/floor washing
  • Empty garbage cans
  • Dusting of furniture and frames (schedule)
• Maintenance of common areas
  • Sweep and wash floors/vacuum cleaners (e.g. living room, dining room, etc.) to ensure cleanliness
  • Dusting of furniture and frames
  • Wash sink, toilet, mirror and public toilet bath
  • Empty garbage cans
  • Washes "fixtures", stains on walls and floors
  • Replaces toilet paper and paper towels and checks soap dispensers
  • Cleans windows and glass doors according to schedule.
  • Maintain indoor plants as required
• Laundry rooms
  • Washing and drying
  • Folding of laundry room
• Any other tasks that may be requested by management

• Level of education:
  High school
• Be autonomous in their work organization (supply, schedule, ensure agreed project delivery times) and the execution of their tasks
• Be comfortable with seniors’ clientele
• Ability to work alone or in teams
• Know the use of tools for safety and effectiveness
• Assess and manage daily priorities of requests from supervisor
• Be courteous and respectful, not give favours or accept tips
• Physically fit and able to lift 22.7 kg (50 lbs)
